I had a good experience at Crowne Plaza Indianapolis. The location is wonderful, especially with the indoor skywalk connecting to the Indiana Convention Center. But I did face some noise issues due to a wedding event, which disrupted my sleep. The hotel blends its unique history as a former train station with modern amenities nicely, making it a charming stay overall.

Rooms
8.0
My room had a unique charm, but I struggled with low natural light. It was rather quiet aside from the occasional train sounds since I wasn't in a train car room this time. The train car rooms seemed fascinating and something I might try on my next visit.
Service
9.0
The valet service was really good and very professional, especially when it came to retrieving my forgotten items. The front desk staff were friendly and informative, guiding me well during my stay.

Being in an old train station is a highlight. The connectivity to nearby food options and event venues is extremely convenient, especially when dodging unpredictable weather.
Dining

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The variety was impressive, with fresh pastries and hearty options, though I feel they could improve it even more.
Facilities

The hotel has a beautiful vintage character, and despite some ongoing renovations, I could see it being excellent once complete. They offer a range of amenities like dry cleaning and room service that added to my experience.

I had a good experience staying at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis, particularly because I stayed in one of the unique train cars. 🚂 The hotel was very clean and ideally located near the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium. However, there were some challenges with the front desk service during check-in which took longer than expected. Overall, I would consider returning due to the nice stay, especially the breakfast! 🍳

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Crowne Plaza Indianapolis-Dwtn-Union Stn. The location is fantastic with easy access to restaurants and Lucas Oil Stadium, but the noise from the subway station made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. While the staff was friendly and helpful, I encountered issues with the room's cleanliness and size, which didn't match my expectations given the price I paid.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious but had a small internal window that overlooked a hallway, making it feel dark and cramped. Additionally, I noticed cleanliness issues that detracted from my overall comfort.
Service

The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, making my check-in easy. However, they couldn't help with room changes due to the hotel being fully booked.
Location

Being near Lucas Oil Stadium was perfect for my stay, with plenty of dining options within easy walking distance. The location was ideal for enjoying local attractions.
Dining

The dining experience was okay; I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had a decent variety. However, the restaurant service could have been better.

The hotel had an inviting pool area, but its setup felt uncomfortably like it was part of the lobby. I appreciated the valet service, which was efficient and convenient.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The unique train car rooms presented some charm, but my check-in process was quite frustrating and prolonged. The hotel's location near Lucas Oil Stadium was perfect for my needs, and staff were attentive, although the housekeeping could have been better.

Rooms

I enjoyed a room overlooking the pool, which was lively until the pool closed at 10 pm. The decor was charming, but my room felt slightly outdated. I had a fridge and a Keurig machine, which was a nice touch.
Service

The front desk staff were not as welcoming as I had hoped, but they were helpful in guiding me through my stay. I did experience delays at check-in, and some staff seemed overwhelmed during peak check-in hours.

My recent stay at Crowne Plaza Indianapolis-Dwtn-Union Station was a mixed experience. The uniqueness of staying in a train car added an interesting twist, though the noise levels and cleanliness left much to be desired. The location was fantastic for exploring downtown and nearby events, and the friendly staff made my stay more enjoyable. Overall, it was a nice visit, but with notable drawbacks.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in one of the authentic train cars, which was a fun experience, though I found the room to be quite narrow and somewhat noisy due to the trains above. The steep stairs to the room may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues.
Service

The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to Lucas Oil Stadium and downtown attractions. The enclosed walkway to the Convention Center was a good surprise, especially in cold weather.
Dining

I found the restaurant on-site to be quite good, with a nice variety of food options. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and fresh, though I should have been cautious about opting for the buffet as a solo traveler.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included convenient room service and valet parking. However, I faced issues with housekeeping and the lack of cleanliness in my room, which took away from the overall comfort.
